Nice gym with really good people. Contacted them about dropping in when I was in town and got a quick response. Showed up and was made to feel welcome. Got in some good rolls. If you’re passing thru, don’t hesitate to get with them and train.

Checkmat Charleston is a great place to train. The coaches are top notch and the new facility is amazing. If you want to get in shape and learn a skill come give it a try. Everyone from the higher belts down are respectful and want everyone to have fun and learn.
Great Instruction and good rolling with tough competitors
Dropped in here twice on vacation - one evening class and one open mat on Saturday. Very friendly crew, tough, but respectful rolls. Highly recommend. Shout out to Jenny for the hospitality.
